Well, it's about damn time!
Since Google took over Blogger, I've been having a heckuva time even finding my blog. Suddenly (today) it mysteriously appeared so we're back in business.
Meanwhile, we've been busy! To catch you up, I'll start with the latest news first.
A Site Is Born
I've become so enamored of the art found on old trading cards that I've felt compelled to dedicate an entire site to it: TradingCardT-shirts.com. If you've been to Going Postal lately you'll notice some wonderful examples of this classic vintage art spread throughout the site. If you haven't seen it, don't think "Oh, no, more sports cards!" Even though I'm putting together a page of 100 year old baseball card of Hall of Famers, the variety found on old cigarette trading cards especially, is absolutely incredible. Subjects range from the gods of Egypt, Chinese opera masks, WW1 dirigibles and even dessert pastries! All of them are very colorful and make wonderfully unique and wearable t-shirts. I'm telling you, we're on to something here. You've got to go see the rest and you'll agree with me. The site is still, shall we say, a minimalist's delight, but you'll see where we're going with this. Come, on take a look: Vintage Trading Card T-shirts. You'll be glad you did.
