Overland
Mail (1958) - If you wanted to get to San Francisco
from St. Louis back in 1858, you might have chosen the new stage coach service

been a lot easier with a few of these t-shirts! (Shown on a small t-shirt.) CLICK

#1 (Dec., 1949) - The Ranger models for this popular pulp

American
Indian (1922) - The portrait for this classic old image was a photograph
taken of Hollow Horn Bear (Matihehlogego), a Brule Sioux chief. He started
his career as a warrior fighting the Pawnee and then spent years causing
many a headache for the Whites in Nebraska and Montana. He was highly honored
and respected both among his own people and the Whites and was called to
Washington several times as a representative. Finally he was honored with
this postage stamp, guaranteeing his image will live forever. (Shown on
