St. Lucia Candles (1972) St. Lucia's day (Dec. 13) is one of Sweden's favorite holiday's. At dawn the eldest daughter a family will dress in a white dress with a red sash, and wears a wreath of lingonberry branches with 4 lighted candles on her head. She carries coffee and a breakfast of saffron buns and gingerbread cookies to her parents in their room. Of course, modern Swedes prefer to wear a this famous t-shirt instead. Eidsvoll (1947) This stamp celebrates the birth of Christian Magnus Falsen, considered to be the author of the Norwegian constitution. After Denmark gave Norway to Sweden, he and other patriots met at Eidsvoll to dissolve the relationship and set off on their own. You should remember his with this t-shirt!
